Please find below some tips on staying emotionally well. Stress and other challenges, when handled well, provide clarity and strength to pursue life’s opportunities.

  • Find humor in the situation. Try laughing at yourself. Shift from a moody approach to one of joy and positivity.

  • Connect with others who may support your needs. Build a network of solid relationships. Other connections of value may come from the internet, books, tapes, and videos.

  • Keep physically strong. Maintain constant care of your health. Access medical and dental services as required. It’s much easier to face a difficult situation when you feel well.

  • Practice meditation. Become aware of your thoughts and how you react to them. Be mindful of how your feelings affect your actions. Think of growing and leaving any destructive practices behind.
