HOLIDAY BLAHS

Holiday blahs, fatigue, and let-down feelings seem to affect
many. They often come just after spirits are high. What has
happened between the high and the after-down? May I suggest
that some of this is caused by food and drink indulgence.
It’s time to get back on track with a proper diet and consuming
water. Take the goodies, cut them into small portions, and freeze
them.
It’s also true that people may suffer depression during the
holidays. A serious ongoing condition calls for professional
assistance. If I feel a little worn out by all the extra efforts of the
holiday experience, I take a break and review my goals for the
coming year. Others might go to a gym, take a long walk,
meditate, or visit their hobbies. It is wise to take steps that are
rejuvenating.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

“Tell me, I’ll forget.”
“Show me, I might remember.”
“But involve me, and I’ll understand.”
Old Chinese proverb
